What a horrendous day. I told you Russ said he didn't want anything the other day really--he told me to just sell it and keep the money. Oh no!!! I imagined all that-even with witnesses. I've been called rude crude names all day and into the early morning hrs. of this day--by text of course.I have been hasselled and told that they will be here on Friday for ALL RUSS' THINGS PERIOD! I TOLD THEM TO WAIT UNTIL SUNDAY--BUT THAT'S NOT AN OPTION THEY TELL ME-IT WILL BE FRIDAY AND ONLY FRIDAY AND THEY WILL COME WHETHER I AM HERE OR NOT AND THEY WILL GET HIS STUFF ANYWAYS! I WAS BELITTLED AND CURSED AT EVEN THREATENED AT ONE POINT. It does not matter that when he left -before he O.D. that he told me I could have everything in the house-he didn't want any of it, he had what he wanted in his truck. Then yesterday he told me most of the stuff was old and falling apart I may as well sell it and keep the money--he really didn't want anything. I tried to interest him in his recliner--he wouldn't even answer me on that--he just left after saying sell the stuff. Now he wants stuff. It took me texting btwn three ppl on his behalf to finally get him to send a list. So it ends up he wants the bedroom set (which I didn't want and was his before we met), and the entire living room set including the big tv and stand(I told him I couldn't haul the big tv already and was taking the tiny one so my grand-daughter could watch her dvds)....It's just I've got to get two drawers of my clothes out of his dresser and then empty the t.v. stand of all my dvds.

I wanted them to wait till Sunday since I've been in this Fibro Flair it will take me longer to get things done but they won't they are so darn hateful. I'm trying to not make myself worse by pushing too hard they just don't care how sick they make me. Now the wife of Scott is texting me and saying that I was putting on an act when Russ was at the hospital. She never came there except after he woke up--she doesn't realize what I was going thru with my dizziness and pain as I stood by his side. I don't even want to get started on her. Her husband was threatening me all nite that if I didn't do this tomorro they would gain entrance with a cop and do it anyways. I'm so afraid they will steal me blind-as I do have some nice pieces of jewelry my mom left me that have some value.

My fibro is at a 13/14 and I can't sleep I need to get some things cleared out and ready cuz they won't tell me when. I told them we would b gone until after 2 pm==so they should come after 2 pm. Never got a response.

It angers me so much that you are having to deal with so much abuse!  OMGosh!  Are these peoples ego's out of control or what!  On fire!  Pain body activated!  Take a chillax pill already!  Get over yourselves please.  I can not even believe how badly these people are treating you.  Have they all lost it?

Hum... I am feeling rather uncomfortable with you not being home when THEY come to TAKE HIS stuff.  What is his stuff is also your stuff and it angers me to no end they are being so completely unreasonable.  If you are not there... please do not leave your valuable jewelry for them to think they have the rights to.  I hope you will not trust them and take this with you? 

All of the stress has your fibro off the chart.  Oh how I pray you can get some peace and calm back into your life soon so you may get those pain levels down.  I liked what Gayle wrote about eating.  A really good way to think about it.  When this crazy, irrational behavior is out of your life hopefully you will be feeling better.  I can't say as though I blame you for not being happy about loosing a few pounds!  This illness does cause weight gain and the meds we take also do.  YAY for you to have lost weight.  :)  It is a positive to all the negative right?

I am glad you are posting and getting it out here Pamel.  Post and vent away!  Get it out.  We are here.  We are on your side.

omg pamel i am so so angered by the actions that russ and his family are taking.  please please have someone with you when they do come.  they seem to be taking the upper hand every step of the way.  there are 2 ways of looking at this situation.  one is that ur going to fight them every step of the way.  the other is to consider it just stuff and move on.  consider the expense of moving all of these replacable items.  you have the option of going to second hand store and purchasing some furnishings very inexpensively.  target has wonderful furniture and home furnishings at very reasonable prices.  the  upsetting thing is the abuse that they are imposing on you. that is why i think it is so important for you to have your son right by your side.  what is he thinking of this ordeal that his mother is having to edurre?  did russ help raise your children or did you get together after they were grown.  i hope and pray that they both are there for u physically and emotionally.  

getting back to your stuff.  like u mentioned your jewelry is yours.  no ifs and or buts.  they cannot just come in an

wipe you out.   the irriplacable items, pictures,  memorabilia etc cannot be replaced.    

omg i just realized that they were coming today friday.  i hope you held up and survived this horrific battle.  please lte us know how it went and that you are ok.

What???!!!!!!  First, um, I really don't think they can do that.  Well, but maybe they already have.  I am just getting here onto Fibro360.  I am so saddened by people who have this mental disorder.

As long as you keep you most valuable things with you and they cannot rob you blind, don't resist.  I know that doesn't seem right, but honestly Pamel, after all you have been thru, just take you valuable jewelry......the more you resist, the crazier these crazy people will become.  When they learn it make no difference to you.....they will have no wind in there tiranicle sails.  These are very cruel, mentally ill people.  You can walk away knowing you did the right thing and stayed by Russ' side all the way.  Good riddens!!!

Lucy is right.........they have great furniture @ Target and Fred Meyers now.  Truly.   Leave your old burdens behind and feel the freedom in your Spirit.  I have certain pieces I could never part with and photos, etc.  But the rest......it would be hard to start over....but it it better than the abuse you have been suffering with for weeks and weeks now.  I wish we, your fellow Fibro Sisters, were there to help you.  You should only be packing for maybe minutes at a time and than you should be laying down.  Oh my goodness!  I know how hard this is; I packed a 3000 square foot house by myself 3 X in 18 months.  I now hang onto nothing I can't dump in a 24 hour span except for my most valuable and treasured items......Thats a whole other story for a different day.....just, the packing really excellerated my condition and I was also under tremendous stress while packing.

Please, please, please keep posting.....my thoughts and prayers are with you every day.

CORRECTION: Fibro Brain Alert!!

It was Prema who said that Target has great furniture...and she made a great point about how some things are just not worth the stress and agony that is being caused.  We care so much about you Pamel;  please do not think that this is just off-the-cuff.  It is hard enough to leave our possessions that we know and are comfortable with, but having Fibro on top of it..........it just floods our bodies with distress.
